The course is intended for students that wish to work towards a variety of careers or are interested in the Health and Social Care sector. The OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Health and Social Care will provide essential knowledge, transferable skills and tools to improve learning in other subjects with the aim of enhancing employability for when you leave education, contributing to your personal development and future economic well-being.

Our qualification is to improve their skills and knowledge in preparation for further education or the workplace. Our qualification is designed to allow students the freedom to explore more deeply the things that interest them. The teaching of the qualification will normally be through practical work, learning skills and how to do things that may be relevant to the world of work.

You will be assessed through coursework and exams, which are taken in January or May/June.

Using a range of assessment methods to include: recorded discussions, reflective journals, observations, reports, witness statements, scrap books, case studies, videos, written assignments, care plans and posters.
